The Horizons Jazz Orchestra kicks off the Miami Jazz Cooperative’s (MJC) SUMMER OF BIG BANDS on Monday, June 19th at 8 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church Miami, (7701 SW 76th Ave, Miami, FL 33143). Led by trombonist, Michael Balogh, this 16-piece Jazz Orchestra will be playing songs from “Movies and TV shows”.
Some you’ll recognize; some you might not. Some are soundtracks/arrangements from their debut Cd, “The Brite Side — the Music of Lee Harris” which will also be available for sale at the concert.
